The exoplanets group was established in 2013 under the patronage of Yunnan Observatories, with the aim of using modern observing techniques to study planetary systems and their host stars, and to learn about how they form and evolve. Fields of study include exoplanetary transits, asteroids, stellar magnetism, interaction between stars and hosted planets, etc.
The research group currently consists of 2 Professors, 2 assistant researchers, 4 PhD students, and 3 MSc students.
